Organizational Overview: The Arizona Cardiology Group are leaders in the field of Cardiovascular Care with offices in Phoenix, Goodyear, Tempe and Scottsdale. Cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic procedures provided by the physicians are performed in the main office, satellite offices and on location place of hospitalization when necessary.
Business Need: Arizona Cardiology Group was using a considerably outdated Practice Management System running on a Unix server. They needed to migrate to a newer Windows Based PM system.
Solution: They selected Centricity from GE which is a Microsoft SQL Database server application and also uses IIS for the client side access. Arizona Cardiology Group engaged InSwift to install a Microsoft SQL server to house the Centricity database and application. InSwift prepared and installed the server and assisted in the roll‐out of the client side application to the main and remote offices.
Benefits: The result of the new migration has increased efficiency in scheduling, patient billing and communication between employees. InSwift continues to support Arizona Cardiology Group in the maintenance and management of their network.
